Drinking Bird Toy
is it perpetual motion?
This classic toy was invented in 1945 by Miles Sullivan, PhD. The Drinking Bird bounces and dips his beak to 'drink.' Simply moisten its head, place it next to a full glass of water, and watch as it periodically dunks its head into the glass for a sip. He can keep going for hours. Strangely mesmerizing to watch, it makes a great centerpiece for discussion at home or in the classroom.
