Why we love it:

One of the best aspects of the Bugout, is how lightweight the knife is. This knife is so lightweight that when I am carrying it, I forget it is in my pocket. On top of that, this knife uses Benchmade's patented Axis lock system, which allows for me to open and close the knife with one hand. The Bugout also carries top of the line S30V steel, which rates high in terms of edge retention. The knife is sharp out of the box and due to the high quality steel it stays that way as well. Finally the knife comes with Benchmade's lifesharp guarantee, which ensure your blade stays sharp for the lifetime of the blade. Out of all the folding knives Mast sells this is my favorite!

I love this product for a couple reasons.  First off Benchmade is one of the highest regarded knife brands out there.  Their reputation and craftsmanship, in my opinion, is top notch.  The brand is based in Oregon and all their products are made in the USA.  They offer what they call Lifetime Lifesharp warrenty.  Which means for every product they make they will, for free, clean, oil, adjust and re-sharpen your Benchmade knife to a factory razor sharp edge for the lifetime of the knife.  This is one of the major reasons I choose Benchmade to be my EDC (everyday carry) knife.
