Winkler Exclusive for Mast General Store
The General Knife from Winkler Knives is a Mast General Store exclusive. This blade is made just down the road from our Original Store in Boone, North Carolina, by skilled craftsmen under the guidance of master bladesmith Daniel Winkler. This fixed-blade knife features an extended pommel, jimping on the spine of the blade for added safety and functionality, and our Mast General Store logo along the spine. The curly maple wood handle features a detailed carving of Grandfather Mountain from both the South and North views. This knife comes with a leather-covered Kydex sheath that can be mounted to your gear or belt any way you please. Only available from Mast General Store.

Beautiful knife in collaborative effort with Winkler Knives. A High Country product with very cool TOPO of Grandfather Mountain on handle and Mast General Store and WK touchmarks on blade. A high quality knife that would make a great gift that could be a collectible but super functional as well. Youll want to use it every day. Outstanding quality for the price.

Great practical knife with local roots crafted by one of the most reputable makers in the industry Mine did not come with the tip jimping which I prefer anyway If you ever get to Boone NC you can visit Winkler Actual a little shop and mini museum detailing his knife making history Good chance youll meet the man himself
